Man, one of the replies to this “i’d rather be 24 than 20” reminds me of how when I was in my early 20’s I thought that 24 was the most perfect age. Because you were young enough to be young, but old enough that people actually respect you and take you seriously as a human being.

24 is the perfect age in those regards, but perhaps it’s also the age where you finally realize you are actually getting older and you are leaving the phase of your life where totally fucking around about everything is not going to be fun forever and that people are going to stop finding it cute pretty soon.

but I wonder, why do we let our mid/late 20’s get robbed from us with this ridiculous fear of being 30?
